School Activity Days

If you’re looking for something different for your Sports Week or a theme day, I offer a range of exciting options to choose from.


For all activity days, I primarily use equipment that you already have on your school site. This means everything delivered can be easily replicated afterwards at no additional cost to the school.

Each day can also include time with your PE lead to review your current active offer. Together, we can identify quick wins and simple adaptations to increase active opportunities for pupils, staff, and the wider community.

Active Days

Functional Fitness Sessions

  • This activity is accessible to children from Year R upwards.
  • Inspired by the HYROX format, children will spend time learning about each functional station before taking on the full challenge.
  • The activity can be set up either indoors or outdoors, using equipment you already have available on site.
  • It’s a high-energy activity that delivers a strong return on investment in terms of active minutes.
  • This day lends itself particularly well to Sports Week events, as we are able to accommodate a high number of classes throughout the day. Multiple classes can also take part at the same time.
  • This activity also works extremely well as a school fundraiser, engaging both pupils and the wider community.

Blackout Poem Workshops

  • This day helps to link sport and movement with reading and literacy and can be accessed by years 3-6.
  • The programme can be adapted to fit around your school timetable, but it works particularly well as part of a carousel of activities during a theme day or bespoke event.
  • Classes will develop their map-reading skills and teamwork, while also testing their physical ability as they move around the school site to locate different checkpoints.
  • Once all locations have been discovered, children will then take time to design and decorate their own poem or short story using the information they have gathered.

Tailored day in your school

A tailored day at your school can look however you want it to.
We can arrange a call to talk through the event you already have planned and discuss the best options to suit your needs. This could include:

  • A combination of the activities outlined already.
  • Working with a group of pupils to design their own community engagement activity from start to finish.
  • Supporting a group of students to plan and deliver an active charity event.
  • Working with your staff to host a school fun run.
  • Or something completely unique to your school
